Located within the Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex (Morocco), the "lighthouse building," intended to house a Reception and Conference Center and the Masen offices, is the starting point for the programming of circuits of diversified scientific and cultural visits. The architecture of the building went through several phases, but the philosophy and ambition developed upstream of the project were the continuous threads of reflection. PH Boris is the transformation of a classic residential typology in Buenos Aires. This architecture, prevalent in the city, was characterized by solving a set of housing units that share the same land and access. Each one gained natural ventilation and lighting through internal patios while fragmented spaces defined its rooms. The design proposal aims to rethink these characteristics as an opportunity to create a central space that would improve the versatility of the environment.
The Arrive East Austin Hotel comprises eighty-three rooms and a multi-use podium housing two restaurants, three bars, a coffee shop, leasable street-side retail space, and parking. The Meatpacking District in Manhattan has undergone a series of dramatic transformations in scale and use throughout its history. Small lots were consolidated over time into larger properties to support manufacturing and warehouse functions during the district’s industrial heyday. As the neighborhood transitioned into its current state of high-end retail and hospitality, this upscaling has continued.
Nuukullak 10 lies gently perched on the mountain ridge of Entreprenørdalen, a district in Nuuk that is currently undergoing a transformation from a former industrial area into an attractive new urban district. In the highest condominium in the city of Birigui, in a portion on the lowest level, with an active level we contemplate the beautiful skyline of the city of Araçatuba. And so we implemented a “Glass Box”. On a plot of 308m² and its triangular design, we chose to favor its main facade to the north, and its isolated location to encourage contemplation of the horizon.
In the quiet and secluded Hwam-dong alley, which is reached by strolling through the small alleys in front of the U.S. military base in Yongsan, the red brick facade hides quietly like a mask. The red brick façade is a relic of the Japanese colonial era, and the wooden structures that have stood the test of time greeted us through the musty smell of dust. *Jalsan-gaok: A building built by Japanese people in the Japanese style when Japan forcibly occupied Korea.
