TEPCO has confirmed that the company covered up the meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear plant. The president of the energy company made an announcement admitting that they lied a week after a scandalous report claimed that Japanese government and TEPCO had been hushing up the tragedy. RT reports: The information was revealed by Tokyo Electric Power Co. President Naomi Hirose, who released an apology. We recently wrote about Marc Ching, the owner of the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation. Ching has dedicated much of his life to saving dogs from torture and abuse incurred by the dog meat industry in many Asian countries.

The Humane Society estimates that 30 million dogs are killed across Asia every year as part of the industry. Due to a myth that the meat tastes better, these dogs are often tortured before being slaughtered. Читать дальше...
