There were in fact TWENTY TWO Broncos fans in that part of the ground of which I was one.
People are critical of Broncos fans for not traveling in numbers. For my wife and I, it was a four hundred mile round trip, plus a night in a hotel. How many M62 corridor clubs fans would do that every other week. Our performances and the fact all the games being on TV do not encourage our fans to travel either.
Still next week its only Leeds. I know at least four that will be there. Читать дальше...

Watching Leeds hull now. Neither look great both have a lot of kids on their bench. Both probably better than us.
Natoli and butler back I guess. Parata out. Still a bit thin.

The other problem we have is that we have some outstanding young lads waiting for a chance but are perhaps still not quite ready yet. There is a huge difference physically between Academy and SL and its not like football whereby a 17-18 year old isn't really much different physically to an older player. Its different in RL
There are some big decisions coming up which if we want to continually compete, we need to get right.

The agreement with Wakefield has been scrapped, and replaced with a deal with Barrow, hope this can kick start our season, which has gone incredibly flat.

Not much to say here. They’ve not pulled up trees but I suspect they have too much for us. It would be nice if we scored a couple. Getting a bit grim.

6 months recovery period for young Hayes, so I presume Willie will face a similar timeframe. Hopefully, they will both be back ahead of schedule.

It seemed a strange one at the time of the announcement, with Wakey investing heavily in their squad. A dual reg agreement with a club likely to only need any of your players in an injury crisis always had a chance of being ended early. The partnership with Barrow makes far more sense. You’d think that straight away they’d be happy to get guys like Eckersley and Hampshire in the squad if possible, on top of arrangements already in place for Forber and Beardsworth.

I think Smith is aware that his job is vulnerable. I was intrigued by his comment that ‘the club’ have decided to let the youth come through, rather than spending (I paraphrase). This can only be directed at Gary. If so then I think Gary has to give him ( a bit ) more time. The crisis may come if a few senior players organise a delegation to speak to Gary.
We can all be guilty of over-reading between the lines but I have noticed that no player ever refers to the manager. Often when a team... Читать дальше...

Can't say I'm massively surprised with this given the relationship between Powell and Wigan. I also can't imagine that agreeing to loan Eseh to Castleford would've helped either.

I don't know if it's aggressive bullying but anyone who joined in is giving a pretty clear indication that they're a moron with limited social skills. Who would want to hang out or work with people like that?

Out of contract players able to talk to other clubs from tomorrow (officially).
James Donaldson, David Fusitua, Corey Johnson, Rhyse Martin, Tom Nicholson-Watton, Luis Roberts are all out of contract with us.
Think it’s already apparent with the signing of Hall that Fusitua is leaving.
I won’t be surprised if Donaldson, Johnson and Roberts join that list. Roberts only because Edgell, J Smith, McCormack, Lumb are highly rated at the club.
