If he stays until the end of the season i would play him on the wing and use his height with crossfield kicks to the corner as we dont have any running strike accross the field

I would imagine he would know who needs moving on anyway, bringing him in early could work if the fan base got behind him. Its jjst far too toxic at FC at the moment, zero patience from the fan base. A few bad results they would be on his back, nothings changed bla bla.
The sooner people realise this isnt an overnight fix the better in my view. I just cant help but feel we knock everything down we are trying to build.
I dont think he will come, id be surprised... Читать дальше...
Far from thinking that the Refs are corrupt / bent/ biased or however it’s phrased , the bigger teams , especially when at home appear to get the rub of the green .
Some of the decisions which have gone against us , saints away being 1 has been puzzling.
The same can be said when we have been flying high in the championship and we seemed to get some odd decisions our way.

Can I ruin everything by being optimistic?
We only lost by 8 to a very good team on sat and likely have one or two returnees so should be just as solid and won't have to deal with anything like MacDonald, lafai or Sneyd....

I can't see that Guardian link, it's behind a pay wall. Headline says not many signings for 2025. Does anyone know who's off contract this year?

Had a very slow work day and got talking about the strength of the Wigan academy, particularly in relation to the majority of other clubs. Realised that are around 18 Wigan academy products playing at other SL clubs currently and if you stick them together they make a decent side.

Apart from knockout rugby this is the fixture that fills me with the biggest dread of losing being the closest to Casa Rico. There's an air of unpredictability about Salford as well as the occasional whiff off the 'water' treatment plant. Let's hope that there's the sweet smell of success and Oenothera Biennis When Saturday Comes.

Ryan Hall is comfortably the smartest of the former players to be offered a role with the club. He’s a very strong candidate to take over from GH after a couple of years learning the ropes.

Do you think it would be as high as 800k. I would have thought with his buying power and available trades people he would be able to do a lot of work for considerably reduced prices, which I’ve guessed is why so much is getting planned

Just a random question, as i always find it really odd.
But does anyone know why they stand so far away from each other on the pitch?
Watching Carney, wilkin etc stand like 3 feet away from each other at all times really weird, i assume there is a reason for it but not sure why?

There has been a lot of talk inside the club on how the player market is lacking in quality and highly inflated. Over the past couple of weeks the Agents of 2 average English players have offered them to Warrington requesting laughable wages, which we're immediately rejected. So I can see why the club have used the Guardian to dampen any fan expectation of big name signings with the spare salary cap we have, and to send a clear message to prospective players and there Agents. Really? Not sure Myler knows anything about Leeds weaknesses or strengths as he always seemed to play his own game for his own benefit under the auspices of his partners father who had much clout in the Boardroom. I cannot see what value Myler will bring to a troubled club like Hull who need help.

Josh Schuster situation is interesting from our point of view.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Had Isa not picked up his injury wouldn’t think about it, and hopefully it isn’t the case he is out for the season.
If he is though I believe there is the option to deregister him.
This would open up cap and quota space.
It appears there is no interest in the NRL and he is about to become a free agent with $200k pay off.
Like I said hopefully... Читать дальше...

I did not see the game, did not listen to it, and only read what’s on this forum so far. To get billed at home? Completely unacceptable! You can point to the injury list and say Fax are up against it, With all the experience on the field not even a drop goal!
Like others I am not privy to what conversations happen in coach or boardroom, but it seems money has been thrown into the abyss, spending money on players who are not fit and not yet laced a boot in anger and probably is a good earner,... Читать дальше...
