Has anyone got the official attendance figure for Saturday's game please? RL Express state that no figure was submitted. I thought that we would be shouting it from the rooftops.

There's Bain still though isn't there. He hasn't played a game yet, so when he does come back, he will have to look good, which will be hard after the amount of time off he's had. It'll be interesting to see what DP does with those 2 because IMO Bothroyd has had a chance to show that he's a decent player for us before his injury.

We are missing Toby King I agree. Abbas Miski has perhaps looked a little off his best at the start of the year but that's to be expected when you have little to no pre-season. I think Liam Marshall has been fine.
Not convinced making metres is our main issue - in fact we actually made more metres than Hull KR last week. As you highlighted last week, defensive contact and intensity was the main problem.
What I would say is that the signings of Keighran and Leeming are probably more... Читать дальше...
I've dropped off the standings list, have I been disqualified for thinking we would win comfortably on Saturday?
Should be on 60 points with Walter

Just reading an article on the top 10 metre makers this year in SL.
The list is all outside backs and it’s interesting to see no Wigan players in there.
I think this is a major stat that points as to why we are maybe not as fluid as last year. Last year King, Miski and Marshy in particular got us on the front foot early doors with good post contact metres and quick play the balls.
Keighran isn’t contributing enough for me in this regards and whilst I really rate Wardle it’s probably the weakest part of his game. Читать дальше...
We may, possibly, clamber above Cas into the dizzy heights of tenth!! Would be a little surprised if we went any higher, think it will take a sizable improvement in performance to be higher than that.
Would be equally surprised if we were to finish bottom. Even in our current state I think we have enough to nudge ahead of London!
In truth, we had bottom four written all over us even before the season began, so this isn't exactly a surprise to most of us, although some of the performances... Читать дальше...
Another performance was totally unacceptable for a "professional" side. Once again no structure, lack of gameplay and poor defence.
Personally don't mind chanting /grumbles etc against the team. Any level of violence shouldn't be tolerated. Didn't go to the ge so don't know the extent of it but fans have the right to be vexed off at current set up

The road works on the M1 will make little difference to your journey, there are still 3 lanes open from tankersley to Meadowhall, there is plenty of parking at the ground but if it’s busy it will be chaos getting out of the car park, there is an industrial estate round the back off and around Allende Way with plenty of on street parking 5-10 minute walk, don’t go anywhere near the A61 it will be an absolute nightmare

Not sure if Tarquin is still currently sectioned but hopefully he'll be along shortly to make a contribution.
We are currently 11th of 12 after 9 games.
Think that is where we'll still be at seasons end.
Anybody more optimistic or pessimistic regarding 2024 final league position?

I tend to think that it was more the investor insisting on smith going and pearson was happy to let them continue. They had no problem paying hoy off and smith and stan only contracted until october anyway.
smith got rid of hoy which pearson must have backed so didn't seem as if he was intending to sack him to me

If that's the case then he certainly should be stood down for the season & after specialist testing, review before 2025. We definitely wouldn't want him to risk a third concussion this year.

The only real gaps in the team vs Hull were in the threequarters, but two of those that played have appeared in all but one game this season, a third has played a lot in the centres, and our debutant was probably the MoM. Utter nonsense to blame that performance on injuries. Over the course of the season we'll have far weaker sides out than that.

Time for Sam to rally the troops following the set back against Salford as we welcome a Hull FC to the HJ, who looked steadier against Leeds post Tony Smith. You'd like to think that home advantage and a kick up the pants loss will inspire the P&B But who will come out on top....
You decide and Good Luck
a) Score and Winning team: Warrington 0 v 0 Hull FC
b) First try (Wire player):
c) Time of first try:
d) Last try (any team, player not time):

I cannot see Grix getting the role permanently, I think the narrative and sound clips about him are more trying to be respectful to him, and because he is likely to have the role until the end of the year.
I would even rather have McDermott than have Grix permanently.

When you've got your entire first choice spine available and 3 of your first 4 props available there really is no excuse for the level of shte served up yesterday even factoring in the 3/4s missing. Hull were missing more significant players , are crap and we still limped our way to 2 points. Smith has to go.
