IT’S a momentous occasion for any parent.
So Vogue Williams did what any proud mum would do when their child rides a bike without stabilisers, and took to social media to share a video of it.
But the Irish beauty soon found herself at the centre of criticism, as people slammed the outfit she’d dressed her four-year-old daughter in.
The TikTok clip showed a proud Vogue gently helping her daughter steer at the beginning, before she gave her a push and the little girl confidently cycled off.
“I am beyond proud of my Gigibear,” Vogue captioned the video.
“I thought it would take quite a while but she nailed cycling!
“I think she’s figured out that you exert less energy than walking!”
Vogue added that teaching Gigi to ride without stabilisers had taken them just “two days”, and said her daughter is already “flying along”.
But the comments section on the video was almost immediately filled with people slamming the model for dressing her little girl in a tutu skirt for the outing.
As it looked, on numerous occasions, like the full skirt was going to get trapped in one of the wheels.
“Practical outfit choice,” one person sarcastically commented on the clip.
“I hope that doesn’t get caught in the wheel!” another said.
“My anxiety that the tutu will catch in the spokes…” a third admitted.
“Beautiful but be careful with the dress getting caught in the wheels,” someone else wrote.
“Sorry to be a killjoy – that dress could get caught in the wheels and cause an accident,” another added.
“Well done little one for riding your bike on your own.”
But others insisted they didn’t see a problem with the look, and praised Gigi for rocking a unique outfit.
“Everyone worried about the dress getting caught but it’s clear she was fine,” one wrote.

“And beautiful!”
“Ahhhhh so gorgeous!” another added.
“And I love a girl who dresses appropriately for activities!”
“Love the outfit choice for such a momentous occasion!” a third commented.
While someone else praised: “And she’s bossing it with her own style too!”
