Recently two former Belles, Janice Fuller class of 73' and Belinda Candler Copeland class of 76' were both honored as former members of the Women's Professional Basketball League -WBL that Women's Basketball Hall of Fame "Trailblazers" choose as one of the 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees. Both ladies hail from Ft. Towson, Oklahoma and had the privilege of playing under the guidance of Dixie Woodall. Mrs. Copeland was a member of the 1976 National Championship Belles Team. The Seminole State College Athletic Department is extremely proud to announce thirty nine student-athletes and four athletic teams have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements this year by the National Junior College Athletic Association. The NJCAA All-American Student Athlete Awards are divided into the three groups based on GPA-First Team requires a 4.0 GPA, Second Team requires a GPA between 3.80 and 3.99, and Third Team requires a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.

The Trojans Girls' Softball Kid Camp and Prospect Camp will be held at the Seminole State Softball Complex. The camps are on Thursday June 7th and Friday June 8th
Kids Camp ages are 7-12 years of age – Prospect Camp ages are 13-18 years of age.
The fee to attend this camp is $50.00 per person.

The 2018 Trojan Baseball Team, led by Interim Head Coach James Martin, won the NJCAA Region II Championship in Woodward, Oklahoma this weekend. The Trojans had four straight wins in the tournament - beating Arkansas Baptist (21-2); NEO (17-15); Connors (9-8) and Eastern (7-6). The following Trojans were named to the All-Tournament Team along with James Martin being named Coach of the Year.

Brice Terry of Checotah, Ok and the Seminole State Men's Golf team competed at the District F Championship this week at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow, OK. As a team, the Trojans finished in 4th place, but Terry added his name to the SSC Golf record books after winning a two hole playoff to make it to the national tournament. The Seminole State College Softball Team won all four games they played in the Region II tournament this past weekend advancing them to the National Championships. Kristen Prieto drove in six on three hits to lead Seminole State Trojans past Eastern Oklahoma State College 11-3 on Friday afternoon. Prieto drove in runs on a single in the second, a home run in the fifth, and a double in the sixth. Ally Lewis got the win for Seminole State Trojans.
