Attorney: Texas prisoner approved to start hormone therapy
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — The attorney for a Texas inmate says the federal prison system has approved her client's request to begin hormone therapy to transition into becoming a man.
Bureau of Prison officials declined to comment on Mason's gender transition, stating that an inmate's health information is not public information.
