Interim UL System President Dan Reneau suggested that the reason for the quick turn around in selecting a new president was because of an urgency to provide leadership for the university which has suffered from loss of dollars and dwindling enrollment.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors has nominated two people as final candidates for the Grambling State University presidency.
The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/2auxPoy ) the finalists are former state Rep. Rick Gallot, who's also an attorney and member of the Cleco Corp. board of directors, and Gilbert Rochon, former president of Tuskegee University.
