Fourth suspect arrested in Hwy. 101 assault of Lyft driver
The last of four suspects sought in connection with the brutal beating in March of a Lyft driver on Highway 101 in San Francisco has been arrested, officials said Wednesday.
Quintrell Anderson, 22, of San Francisco was arrested Monday and booked into the San Francisco County Jail about 8:10 p.m. on suspicion of assault, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, battery, and vandalism, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three other suspects — 33-year-old Derwayne A. Johnson, 25-year-old Gabriel Rodriguez and 19-year-old Jarrell E. Williams Jr., all of San Francisco — were arrested during simultaneous raids on their homes on June 14, according to CHP.
The four suspects were identified as the people seen in videos of the incident physically assaulting Quintana, CHP Officer Vu Williams said.
