BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to second-degree manslaughter after fatally stabbing her boyfriend in 2023, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Officials said Teiyahna Bivens, 22, stabbed her boyfriend, Micqueal Rogers, 23, in the chest with a knife on July 23, 2023. Rogers later died from the injury at ECMC.
Bivens faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when she is sentenced in July. She was offered a plea to a reduced charge with the consent of the victim's family.
She remains released on bail set at $200,000.
