LOVE Island’s 2024 contestants have finally been revealed today but fans are already clashing in a new ageism row.
The first stars of the line-up are being dropped every half an hour on the ITV2 show’s official channels, ahead of the series premiere next Monday.
However, fans are going head-to-head in the comments section in a fight over how old the contestants look.
Munveer Jabbal is the oldest contestant at 30, while Nicole Samuel is the youngest at 23.
But fans think the stars look older than their years – taking particular aim at Ronnie Vint.
Ronnie is 27 years old, a semi-pro footballer for Lewes FC, and best mates of Bradley Dack, the husband of former Love Islander Olivia Attwood.
But fans are complaining the photographer has made him look older for his official promo shot.
“Someone’s dad is missing! No really,” one wrote. “Who takes the official love island photos? Why does everyone look completely different on them than on their profile?”
“Goshhh it’s old island at this point,” said a second, while a third wrote: “Why do they all look so old”
But others have been quick to jump to the stars’ defence, saying: “Everyone’s always asking for normal people, now we’re getting them and still hating smh”
“He at least looks better in his Instagram profile, the photographer’s definitely doing them dirty,” added a second, while a third said: “And guys he’s like 27 i think relax !”
Ahead of entering the villa, Bradley said: “I want someone that’s family orientated, caring and career minded. Lookswise, I like blondes with nice boobs but am partial to a brunette too.”
“I’ve had two serious relationships in the past but more recently have enjoyed being single and doing my own thing, as I’ve been focussed on my football career,” he said.
“I’ve got to the age where I want to find the right person I can build a life with.”
The full cast line-up was announced this morning, and includes a trainee nurse, a make-up artist, two footballers and a professional dancer.
Maya Jama will be back to guide the islanders through their quest for love, and a £50,000 prize fund.
On Sundays, she will host spin-off chat show Aftersun to recap the week’s events, and talk to dumped islanders as they return home.
The star will be joined by an all-star panel including former islanders Indiyah Polack, Chris Taylor and Amy Hart, as well as Jordan Stephens and Sam Thompson.
Love Island 2024 kicks off June 3 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.

Patsy Field
The Sun revealed how Love Island has reportedly signed stunning Patsy Field, who is an Influencer with a disability.
Patsy is 29 from London and has Erb’s Palsy.
This means one of her arms is shorter than the other and has less function.
She has spoken out on social media about her disability in the past.
She said: “One thing you guys don’t know about me is I have a disability. I have never spoken about it on here before because I am a bit self-conscious about it to be honest.
“Pretty much everyone says they don’t notice it, or they have never noticed it before but once I tell you go back and look through my old videos, you’ll be able to spot it.”
Samantha Kenny
Samantha Kenny from Liverpool could be entering the Love Island villa this summer.
The 27-year-old works in a beauty salon as a make-up artist.
Samantha is no stranger to social media as she’s often seen posting on Instagram.
Grace Jackson
Grace Jackson is a Manchester-based model.
The influencer is already followed by famous faces such as Molly-Mae Hague and Conor McGregor.
The 25-year-old works for the agency MM Models.
She has enjoyed an incredible career so far and has already collaborated with some big brands.
This includes Fashion Nova and postar Rihanna’s lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty.
Ciaran Davies
Welshman Ciaran Davies is set to enter the Majorca villa.
A source told us: “Ciaran caught the eye of Love Island bosses immediately.
“He’s gorgeous with a fit athletic build that will send the girls in the villa wild, but he’s also a sweet boy next door from Wales to boot.
“He’s the kind of lad you could happily take home to your mum.
“He’s been in talks with bosses for weeks and is set to jet out to the villa in Majorca in the coming week or so.”
