BRITS are running to Boots to bag a summertime essential after one savvy shopper shared their discount online.
One woman bagged a £35 pair of sunglasses for just £4.50, even though they were reduced to £5 in the sale.
Customers are hurrying to Boots to grab their own[/caption] Shopper Michaela shared her find on Facebook[/caption]Michaela shared the snap on Facebook, showing the cute purple shades next to her impressive reciept.
She had picked up the accessory, with a clearance tag, in the popular high street store.
While the clearance tag read “£5”, they scanned at the tills for 50p less.
Shoppers took to Facebook to praise her for the impressive steal.
And someone said they’d managed to get the same deal.
They wrote: “Snap I got the same”.
One woman said: “Bargain! Well done.”
Another simply wrote: “Nice.”
Meanwhile other customers are making their way to their local Boots for an “absolute bargain” Jean Paul Gaultier perfume selling at £40 instead of £120.
Bargain hunter Adam came across the Scandal eau de toilette in a clearance sale at a Gloucestershire Boots branch.
He said the 200ml refill bottle would normally have cost him £120 – but was on sale for a third of the price.
His find impressed other members of the Facebook group “Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK”.
Priscilla said: “Brilliant find!”
Dru said: “Love a bit of Scandal.”
Joanne said: “I don’t know where people get these bargains – mine never has anything.”
The impressive Boots bargain follows news that the chain’s biggest rival – Superdrug – is opening new stores.
The Sun revealed that three new stores would open by the summer and another within a matter of days.
