A WOMAN has revealed how her ex chased her with a machete and stamped on her head so hard her eyes “popped out”.
Brave mother-of-three Jodie Beck, from West Yorks, shared shocking images revealing the brutal injuries by her ex-boyfriend.

He even brandished a machete threatening her with the chilling words “you’re going to die now, love”.

He pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm without intent and possession of a bladed weapon.
After the horrific attack, Jodie was left in shock after her attacker received a 3–month sentence.
Jodi has now bravely spoken out about her experience to help others trapped in abusive relationships.
She is urging any victims to seek help and leave before it’s too late.
The 32-year-old said: “I thought John Paul was going to kill me that day. I’m so lucky to have survived.”
At the early stage of their relationship, Jodie said he was supportive even during her pregnancy.
But his behaviour started to deteriorate over time, with late nights and insults becoming more usual.
Jodie said: “He’d post videos online of him dancing with girls in nightclubs.
“Sometimes he wouldn’t come home for an entire weekend.”
Having suffered years of violent outbursts, Jodie made the decision to end the relationship in November 2019.
However, Wilkinson’s insisted in getting back together and she allowed him back into her life.
Jodie said: “He suffered PTSD, so I put it down to that. He had a strange hold on me, and I felt trapped.”
The cycle of abuse started again and it ended in a horrifying attack in October 2022.
Jodie remembers: “I fell onto the bed in agony as he continued to beat me.
“I screamed for help and my niece appeared in the doorway.
“She tried to step in front of John Paul to stop him hurting me, but he ragged her around, before getting her into a headlock and throwing her into the wardrobe.”
Wilkinson unleashed a torrent of violence leaving Jodie hospitalised with severe injuries.
She says: “I heard him say ‘I’m going to jail, might as well make it a good beating’. I thought, that’s it, I’m going to die.
“Next thing I remember was waking up in Bradford Royal Infirmary with two police officers guarding my door.”
In March 2013, he appeared at Bradford Crown Court where he plead guilty.
He was sent to prison and was handed an indefinite non-molestation order.
Jodie said: “I want women to know his face and steer clear. He’ll make your life hell.”
