He instructed: “Pour tea tree oil onto a cotton pad and dab it around the window ledge and on the glass itself.

The excess moisture itself isn’t harmful, but it can turn into mould.
Mould grows by producing tiny particles called spores – these are airborne and can grow quickly and leave stains on your tiles and sealant.
“Leave it to rest overnight and wipe it down afterwards with a microfibre cloth.”
