A MAKEUP lover has transformed her eyebrows from minimal to magnificent with a budget beauty buy.
She admitted that her mother used to overpluck them, but thanks to an Amazon oil, they have grown back tenfold.
Emma (@emma.fortune) shares beauty tips online but she wasn’t always well-versed on the subject.
She revealed her go-to hair growth item in a TikTok video that brought her thin eyebrows back to life.
“I always get questions on my lives about my brows, how I got the hair to grow, because I’m sure we went through this phase of excessively overplucking eyebrows,” she said.
Emma added that she didn’t actually go through this phase herself but rather her mom did the task for her because she didn’t want her to have a unibrow.
“The woman plucked these bad boys, and it took me a long time to grow them back,” she explained.
She first showed viewers what her brows looked like ten years ago and then 14 years ago, when she was around 16 years old.
“I can’t believe I actually left the house with my brows looking like this,” she quipped in the video caption.
She also joked that the eyebrows in the first photo “don’t even know each other” because of how different they looked and were shaped like a “triangle” or a “slope you would ski down.”
Emma “dug through” her Amazon archive to find the item she used to fix them, the Kate Blanc Cosmetics Castor Oil, $9.99.
“I bought this six times, and it got us here, so we love to see it,” she said as she gestured to her brows.
“I definitely would say, is that something you want to use to get that hair growth? Castor oil is gonna be your best friend.”
Emma hasn’t felt the need to pluck her brows in four years because anywhere she didn’t apply the oil, her hair didn’t grow.
“Actually, I haven’t had to pluck my eyebrows in ages. I think my skin is just traumatized by it,” she added.
“If you ever go through a brow crisis, I’ve got your back cause as you can tell, I went through it,” she said.
Viewers appreciated her advice about the affordable beauty item.
“I’ve got that sat in my Amazon basket right now,” one commented.
“Insane,” another wrote.
