MOST campervans have everything you need – but this new model is on steroids.
This car has been described by Citroen as a “true mobile cocoon” after it announced its new model, the Holidays.
Citroen’s car resembles a campervan with everything you need for camping installed in the motor.
The Holidays feature a pop-up roof tent with a bed which can also fold out to create a two-person bed.
A kitchenette including a sink, two gas burners and a minifridge are installed.
The motor also comes with a shower at the back, with a 25-litre water tank with two additional ten-litre water tanks for storing clean water and another for wastewater.
The front seats can pivot to make the most of the “living space” with a retractable table also installed.
The rear has electric sliding doors along with an awning to provide some shade and shelter for the outdoors.
It comes after Citroen announced a new makeover for its Spacetourer van at the end of 2023.
Much like the Spacetourer the Holidays will sport Citroen’s new logo which resembles the original design from 1919.
It also copies the van’s new headlight style along with its updated bumper shades front and rear.
The Holiday’s interior will have a ten-inch touch screen as well as a brand-new steering design with integrated controls.
The touchscreen panel will enable the driver to select climate and ambient settings – plus there’s a wireless smartphone charger.
Motorists will get the choice of two diesel engines on the Citroen Holidays – 144bhp 2.0-litre mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and a 177bhp diesel with an eight-speed automatic.
The Holidays will be on sale in spring 2024 however, Citroen hasn’t said if it’ll arrive in the UK.
It’s unclear how much it will cost but early estimates predict it will sit well over the £50,000 mark.
It comes after a man converted his ex-RAF series 3 Land Rover into a campervan he can live in which he says saves him £920 a month.
And this woman who used to be homeless says now she couldn’t be happier after she converted a high-top van into her cosy home.
