LOVE Island fans have reacted in fury after learning a certain controversial contestant has signed up for the All Stars series.
Viewers of the popular show even said their ‘day was ruined’ at hearing his name is among the lineup.
Love Island fans have shared their feelings about the All Stars lineup[/caption]Jake Cornish first appeared in the seventh series of Love Island and he will be trying his luck again when the All Stars show kicks off next week.
But fans are not impressed given his past behaviour the telly.
Jake quickly coupled up with Liberty Poole in the villa in 2021 and they were on track to win the series.
Things turned sour just days before the final, however, when Jake appeared to make his real intentions shown.
Viewers called him out for being a ‘game-player’ and Liberty – having also twigged that he could be using her – walked out.
Jake will now appear in Love Island: All Stars, which kicks off in South Africa next Monday. And he will be living in the villa alongside his ex.
Liberty has also signed up for the show, having previously appeared on America’s Love Island Games too, and she is currently in the dark about him being there.
Now The Sun has revealed the full Love Island: All Stars lineup, unimpressed fans have shared their thoughts on Jake’s casting.
One viewer wrote on Reddit: “This one has ruined my day.”
Another added: “Not this evil tiny rat again!”
A third chimed in: “I think he’s easily the worst contestant in a long time.”
And a fourth wrote: “Nooooooooooo lmao who cast this man AGAIN????”
Someone else, meanwhile, has a theory about how long Jake will last in the new spin-off series.
They said: “The good thing is I think he’s so collectively disliked we’ll be able to vote him out relatively quickly. I also don’t see any of the women recoupling with him once bombshells drop.”
In 2021, Liberty and Jake coupled up immediately after arriving in the villa. Fans even named them ‘Jiberty’.
But things came crashing down for Liberty during the show’s infamous Movie Night.
The blonde Brummie was faced with scenes of Jake in Casa Amor pondering whether he was even sexually attracted to her.
He told his guy mates that he didn’t want “to rip her clothes off” – and Liberty was left mortified.
She quickly began questioning his intentions, while viewers also accused Jake of ‘using’ Liberty to win the show.
In a moment of defiance, Liberty quit Love Island as a singleton just days before the final. Jake swiftly followed.
Liberty’s pals have now raised their concerns for her after realising she will be in the South African villa with Jake.
The contestants will only discover who they will be living with when the show kicks off.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “Liberty and Jake haven’t spoken since the split and she’s avoided ever having to come face to face at celeb parties – so she’ll be horrified when she realises she has to live with him for the next few weeks.
“It’s going to be really awkward for her.”
