Gemma has said she is a huge fan of chef and GBBO judge Paul Hollywood.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk the former TOWIE star said: “Obviously Stand Up To Cancer is a great cause but I’m a huge fan of Paul Hollywood, so when I got the call I was like, ‘I need to see Paul with my own eyeballs’.”
She added: “Paul Hollywood, bless him, was really complimentary because he saw how much enthusiasm I had.”
Collins described Hollywood, 57, as “gorgeous and said the next woman to marry him would be a “lucky woman”.
“I can confirm to every woman on the planet that he is unbelievable in the flesh,” she stated.
“It’s just the vibe – I think he called one of my cakes ‘indescribable’ but I wasn’t bothered about the cake, I didn’t care if my choux pastry was good, I just wanted to meet Paul Hollywood.”
Alison Hammond has been confirmed as the new co-host of Bake off, following Matt Lucas announcing he had quit.
Gemma was recently forced to address rumours she had split from her fiancé Rami Hawash.
She quashed the speculation as she went on a romantic date night with him.
Dazzling in a pink patterned dress with a plunging neckline, Gemma styled her hair in a bouncy blow dry and added a flick of black eyeliner to complete her date night look.
