THE home that Vicky White hastily sold before embarking on a daring prison break with her jailbird lover has been revealed in images exclusively obtained by The US Sun.
Vicky, 56, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on May 10 following a car chase with police that brought an end to her 11-day jaunt with accused murderer Casey White.
The veteran corrections officer, who boasted a squeaky-clean record before her death, broke Casey White out of the Lauderdale County Jail in north Alabama on April 29, telling her colleagues she was taking him to an evaluation at a nearby court but no such appointment had been scheduled.
For the next week-and-a-half, the pair – who were not related but were romantically involved – dodged cops by ditching cars and donning wigs and other disguises before their race was finally run in Evansville, Indiana, after being spotted leaving a motel.
The reasons why Vicky decided to go on the run with Casey White may now never be realized, but investigators say she appeared to be plotting the escape for some time and was likely the “mastermind” behind the ill-fated plan.
Days before her disappearance, Vicky White filed for retirement after working as a corrections officer for 17-years. She had also recently sold her three-bedroom home in Lexington for just $95,000 and moved back in with her mother, who lives next door.

In images obtained by The US Sun, the interior of Vicky’s property is seen for the first time.
Prior to its sale, the home was sprasely decorated with many of its walls bare and painted a bleak shade of beige.
Strangely, in one of the property’s three bedrooms, Vicky appeared to have had a large home tanning bed.
An aggrieved former colleague of Vicky’s, Tyler Johnson, who blamed the late guard for getting him fired, previously told NewsNation that Vicky “used tanning beds a lot.”
“Vicky may have been 57 years old but she looked 75,” Johnson told the network white the Whites remained at large.
“The photos that they’re releasing of her, they’re all bright on the face because it’s not showing the true her. A lot of people, former employees, said if Vicky dyed her hair grey and put on some old lady clothes and glasses, she could walk right by you and you would never know it.”
The kitchen is the only room photographed that showed any signs of life inside the home. With the walls and island painted a light shade of blue, a dog-themed calendar is seen hanging from a cabinet, and a bone-accented food bowl sits on the floor.
On the home’s 4.25 acres of land, Vicky, who lived at the home for 10 years, also had a large temporary swimming pool and a swinging love seat on her porch.
The property went up for auction on February 16 with an opening bid of $25,000. It sold eight days later for $91,000.
After taxes and other fees were added on, the final sale price was listed as $95,550.
The sale was finalized on April 18 – just 11 days before Vicky broke Casey White out of jail, property records show.
According to Shane Albright, the realtor who sold the unit, the home was originally a double-wide mobile home that was later fixed to a permanent foundation.
The original structure was extended to include a large sunroom, an additional living room, a two-car garage, and a third bedroom.
Various reports suggest that Vicky hastily sold the property for less than half of its market value. County records list the total parcel value of the property at $235,600, according to CNN.
However, Albright told The US Sun: “Some have reported that she sold the home really cheap, [but] the property sold at market value for what it being a 30-plus-year-old double-wide.”
The current owners of the home do not want to be identified.
They now live next door to Vicky White’s mother, Pat Davis, who has not spoken publicly since her daughter’s suicide death.
Davis previously pleaded for her daughter to come home in an interview with local media, revealing she had last spoken with Vicky on the morning of April 29.
“I thought at first it was a mistake,” Pat Davis told WAAY-TV of the moment she learned of her daughter’s escape. “And then when I found out for sure it was [not], it was just disbelief.”
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Florence, Alabama over the weekend for Vicky’s funeral.
The event was held just days after investigators confirmed that Vicky had taken her own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
That fatal round was fired at the conclusion of a brief high-speed chase with police that ended with Vicky’s car rolling over on its side in a ditch.
Moments before, Vicky could be heard exclaiming “Oh my god” in a 9-11 call as police closed in.
“The airbags are going off,” she screamed. “Let’s get out and run.”
The audio captured the wailing of sirens as police started ramming her car. Vicky let out several shrieks before falling silent.
Police officers arriving at the scene can then be heard shouting “She’s got a gun in her hand!” followed by “She’s breathing though!” and “She’s got her finger on the trigger!”
Vicky’s death capped off a dramatic 11-day saga in which the loved-up fugitives appeared to be playing a game of cat and mouse with authorities that spanned numerous states and hundreds of miles.
US Marshalls hunting the couple located them at a motel in Evansville, Indiana, after receiving a tip they’d been spotted at a local carwash.
They were believed to have been lying low in the area since May 2, having paid a homeless sex offender $100 to check into the motel on their behalf.
It was at that hotel that officers spotted the duo exit a room and drive away in a Cadillac, setting off the chase that would end with Vicky White dead and Casey White back in custody.
Casey White is now being held at the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility, a state prison in Bessemer, Alabama.
He has been charged with escape in the first degree in relation to the April 29 jailbreak.
At the time of his escape, he was serving a 75-year sentence for a slew of violent crimes. He was also due to face trial for the murder of Connie Ridgeway, who he confessed to killing during a violent home invasion in 2015.

That trial is currently slated to commence on June 13.
Casey White confessed to the murder in a letter in 2020 but later pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
