AS the host of the Brit Awards, Jack Whitehall has no shortage of pals in the music industry.
Which could be very handy for model girlfriend Roxy Horner, as she has quietly launched a music career.
She has teamed up with record producer Luke Mornay, who has previously worked with Amy Winehouse and Robbie Williams, for a song called Shady.
On the melodic house track, Roxy sings: “There’s no more room for maybe, there’s nothing left to try.
“So when it’s all over, just kiss it all goodbye. When love is dark and shady, don’t live up to a lie.”
It appears to have been recorded in 2017, but has only been released this year. I’m not going to claim she has the voice of Adele, but the song is quite catchy and she sounds good.
But given she hasn’t mentioned the tune to her fans, it remains to be seen whether she is planning to make any more music.
However, with Jack’s profile soaring, it could be a perfect move. His new movie Jungle Cruise, which also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt, is out tomorrow and could be his big break in the US.
Jack and Roxy have been together for just over a year and are clearly head over heels for each other, judging by her gushing tribute when Jack turned 33 earlier this month.
She wrote on Instagram: “I count my lucky stars to have you in my life.
We’ve so many incredible memories already — here’s to many more.”
She’s got a way with words. Perhaps she should put those to music for her second follow-up single.
LIL NAS X’s much-anticipated debut album Montero will be a star-studded affair, featuring collaborations with Sam Smith and Miley Cyrus.
Sam’s dulcet tones grace a break-up track called Empathy, I can reveal.
The singer, who previously dated 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn, croons: “I know we weren’t together long, I had certain feelings and thought we were taking it slow.
“But you don’t call me any more. No reply or a reason for why you were leaving.”
Sam also sings: “You don’t know the way to break up with somebody. It takes a man to say it’s over.”
Nas has previously shown his support for Sam and is an admirer of Love Goes, their third album, which came out last year.
And the US star already has a special connection with Miley after her country singer dad Billy Ray Cyrus featured on a remix of his 2019 hit Old Town Road.
His tie-up with Miley, on the track Am I Dreaming, has a similar theme to Sam’s song of unrequited love.
Miley belts out: “Tears running dry, shattered inside but I still got a smile.
“As I’m sinking, I relive the story. Glitter comes off, battered and blue, but I gotta go on. As I’m singing, I rewrite the story.”
US rapper Jack Harlow, meanwhile, features on Nas’ latest single, Industry Baby, which will hit the charts tomorrow. Nas has yet to announce a release date for the album. But he has teased it would be out at the end of the summer.
Given his track record for massive-selling singles, I’m expecting great things.
MAYA Jama put her bust foot forward as she partied with Daisy Lowe and Liam Payne in London.
The TV host wore a fancy green top with a sweetheart neckline and flowing sleeves along with matching tailored trousers and heels.
She had just arrived back from the US before the bash, which was put on to celebrate the new partnership between global streaming service Dazn and Matchroom Boxing.
Maya has spent the past two weeks across the Pond with her boyfriend, Aussie basketball player Ben Simmons.
But if she was feeling jet-lagged, she certainly didn’t look it.
She was the life and soul of the party, sipping champagne and laughing with her comedian pal Chunkz before heading home at 1am.
Model Daisy was also in high spirits at the party and wowed in a plunging, glittery dress with a split up the side.
And it looked like One Direction’s Liam still had England football fever, sporting a bleached hairdo just like Phil Foden.
He’s outshone you there, Phil.
WITH millions in the bank you would imagine Kanye West sleeps somewhere very lavish.
But for the past week, the rapper has been kipping at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta as he finishes his new album Donda, which is now set to be released on August 6 after he failed to drop it last Friday.
And yesterday he shared a snapshot of the dank and depressing room he’s sleeping in, which resembles a prison cell thanks to the breezeblock walls, a small single bed and a tiny TV.
It’s a world away from the Wyoming ranch he owns with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian – which covers 4,500 acres and is worth £10million.
I certainly know where I would rather lay my head.
DUA Lipa has confronted US rapper DaBaby – who featured on her US hit, Levitating – after he made derogatory remarks at a Miami gig about people with HIV/Aids .
Dua, who posted these pics in Albania and who has performed at Pride events and for the Elton John Aids Foundation, posted: “I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments. I don’t recognise this as the person I worked with.”
Elton has condemned DaBaby’s remarks too and the rapper has been dropped from a deal with clothing brand BoohooMan.
But after tweeting an apology, DaBaby added a defence of black culture, ending his message: “Us ‘N****S’ human too.”
What a mess.
JESS GLYNNE has barely been seen since I told how she had quit social media back in April.
But she re-emerged on Tuesday night to cheer on fellow redhead Sam Ryder during his performance at Dalston Roof Park in East London.
Sam, a singer-songwriter from Essex, saw his profile skyrocket in lockdown after he posted covers online and now counts Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys among his other big-name celebrity fans.
