CORONATION Street’s Victoria Ekanoye has announced she is expecting a baby boy with boyfriend Jonny Lomas.

Victoria – whose baby is due in January – made her pregnancy announcement in November.

So when this pregnancy came along we were like: ‘It’s happening!’ It did come as a bit of a surprise but it’s so unbelievably exciting.”
Jonny added: “I am super excited as well as a bit nervous.
“It’s a new chapter in our lives; all my friends who have kids say it’s going be hard but the best thing you will ever do.”
Victoria and Jonny decided to wait until they were well into the pregnancy before announcing the news, in part because Victoria has sickle cell anemia.

“Then, with my health condition, we wanted a little bit more security and stability in knowing that everything is okay with baby and with me.”
The actress was diagnosed with the condition when she was 22 but recently revealed she spent years hiding her pain from her mother.
