ARSENAL slumped to 15th in the Premier League table following the defeat to Spurs.
To make things worse, their North London rivals are now sat at the TOP of the pile.
Son Heung-min scored the opener before Harry Kane doubled their tally before half-time.

Son struck Tottenham’s first chance of the game past Leno from the edge of the box.
It was a cracking finish, but the Arsenal No1 would have been disappointed with it.
Kane then beat him at the near post to double Tottenham’s tally on the brink of half-time.
Penalised for yet ANOTHER foul throw which is inexcusable at this level during a NLD.
He has now produced five foul throws in the league this season, which is more than any other player in Europe’s top five divisions.
Commentator Gary Neville said: “It was 1986 when I last saw a foul throw.”
Won a lot of aerial duels at the back, but that was about all that he offered the Gunners throughout.
He struggled to keep up with the pace of the game and gave Tottenham way too much space around his own box.
The defender let Kane have too much time on the ball before Tottenham’s first goal.
But aside from that he held his own for the most part while up against the likes of Kane and Son.
The former Celtic lad looked dangerous when he charged up the left flank.
But whenever he delivered the ball into the box, it seemed to find a Tottenham shirt.
The midfielder returned to the starting XI after missing four games with a thigh injury.
Just before half-time, he tried to come off the pitch while the ball was still in play.
But that left Arsenal exposed at the back and Kane scored Tottenham’s second goal. Bizarre.
Like most of Xhaka’s performances, this game was full of reckless fouls and dodgy tackles.
The Swiss star seemed unable to pass the ball up the pitch and failed to track back when Spurs tried to counter attack.
In one word – shocking.
Looked like Arsenal’s biggest threat throughout when he had the ball at his feet.
Despite being just 19, the England ace led by example during the derby.
But a lack of service from his team-mates left him looking isolated at times.
Mikel Arteta would have wanted to see a lot more from the Brazilian, who looked lethargic from the off.
He failed to make his mark on the game and showcase what he’s good at, which is creating chances by feeding the forwards.
The Frenchman seemed to be at the heart of all Arsenal’s promising attacks.
But he dropped too deep at times in the hunt for possession, which left Aubameyang on his own.
He came close to scoring the equaliser, but his header was parried out for a corner by Hugo Lloris.
Aubameyang claimed before kick-off that winning the derby would be a ‘turning point’ for Arsenal.
But yet again the club’s highest-paid player went missing when they needed him most.
He blended into the background of the match while constantly surrounded by a sea of Spurs shirts.
His only chance of the game was a header from a close range – which flew over the bar.
The midfielder was brought on before half-time to replace Thomas Partey.
Arsenal looked a lot better since he was put on the pitch as he tried to dictate the play and dominate the midfield.
The youngster came on late but didn’t have enough time to make any impact.
