AFTER a break-up, some turn to ice cream, others get back into dating.
But for Paul Hollywood, his first thought was his garage.
Paul Hollywood has decided to sell his cars in a bid to strip his life of anything that reminds him of his ex Summer[/caption]
I’m told the the Great British Bake Off judge has decided to have a clear-out after his relationship to former barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam ended.
He has sold all the cars she drove as they reminded him of her.
But it’s not all bad news for the Scouser. To treat himself he’s bought a brand new SVR Range Rover — worth around £100,000.
My Bake Off source said: “Paul took the break-up quite badly so he thought he would to strip his life of anything that reminded him of Summer.
He is ridding himself of any of the motors Summer Monteys-Fullam drove while they were together[/caption]
“Some of the cars on his drive were driven mostly by her, so he figured now she was no longer around he would get rid of them.
“He has flogged nearly all of the motors, because every time he saw them he was reminded of her and what they had.
“However, he has treated himself to a new motor — a black state-of-the-art Range Rover. The irony is it is almost identical to the one he had before, but this one was never driven by Summer.”
I first revealed last month that Summer had ditched Paul because he wanted her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Last month, Summer ditched ‘controlling’ Paul when he asked her to sign an NDA[/caption]
Since then I’ve also told how he shouted a few swear words at her, cancelled a charity skydive she was going to go on and then tried to win her back in a grovelling text last week.
Over the weekend Paul tweeted a slightly sinister picture of him watching me make scones on a visit to the Bake Off tent with the caption: “I’m watching @AndyBizarre mwahahhah”.
As a man who knows a thing or two about bread, I was hoping for more of a rise from him.

MADE In Chelsea regular Binky Felstead’s mum can be seen trying weed for the first time in Channel 4’s High Society: The Cannabis Cafe tomorrow.
Jane Felstead, who was diagnosed with MS last year, visits a cafe in Amsterdam with her elder daughter Anna-Louise, where they roll a couple of joints and try a vaporiser called a Volcano.

And soon she starts to feel the effects, talking about walking a plank and seeing a cowboy.
The show, which airs tomorrow at 10.15pm, follows the 2017 success of ITV’s Gone To Pot, which saw ex-EastEnder Pam St Clement try marijuana.
Speaking ahead of the programme Jane said: “I’ve never taken cannabis but this [MS] diagnosis has made me rethink everything.
“It’s made me re-evaluate everything and I’m really hoping cannabis will ease my MS.”

She added: “The thing I’ve realised about cannabis is it stripped away so many inhibitions.
“I feel very powerfully and strongly in favour of cannabis being legalised.”
Well, it makes a change from high tea.
PAUL Potts was gutted not to have got through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions – but he would still consider returning to one of Simon Cowell’s shows.
The winner of the first BGT in 2007 was knocked out on Saturday night’s series opener and later blamed his performance on camera angles during a Twitter rant.
Paul Potts says he would still consider returning to one of Simon Cowell’s shows after being knocked out of BGT: The Champions[/caption]
In an exclusive interview, he said: “I felt that I had performed well enough.
“The most important thing was that I was there to represent the programme that started everything for me.”
But he would be up for a comeback after I told how Simon wants to do a version of the show with winners from around the globe.
Paul added: “I would consider taking part. It would be great to take my voice and the art of opera to more people across the world.”
What? A Confession, 9pm, ITV.
Why? This tells the real-life story of Det Supt Steve Fulcher, played by Martin Freeman, who breached police protocol to catch a killer in a move that cost him his career.
SHIRLEY Ballas has been swept off her feet by her new man Danny Taylor – but she’s not willing to stop her quest to help others find love.
The Strictly head judge is returning to This Morning’s Matchmaker Mountain to help set up a new group of over fifties.
Shirley will be taking them to the idyllic Umbrian mountains in Italy where the group will go on a series of dates.
She will also put them through their paces with a private dance lesson to learn the Viennese Waltz.
Shirley said: “I’m hoping the romance of Italy will inspire them to find love. The chemistry this series is electric.”
Just get them on Strictly, that’s a sure fire way to find a bonking partner.
TOWIE’s Clelia Theodorou suffered huge weight loss – losing two stone – after splitting from Sam Mucklow and falling out with pal Shelby Tribble.
Fans saw subsequent scenes play out on the ITVBe show last night.
FORMER Dragons’ Den investor Theo Paphitis returned to the lair on last night’s show – and admits it was as if he had never left.
Viewers saw the Greek retail tycoon spar with his old co-stars Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones.
Theo Paphitis says the chemistry with his fellow dragons is still there seven years on[/caption]
Theo, who was filling in for poorly Touker Suleyman, said: “The chemistry was still there. They are all my rivals.”
His seven-year stint on the BBC2 show ended in 2012.
And speaking at his Boux Avenue VIP bash at London’s Mandrake Hotel in London last week, Theo hinted that he would go back.
He revealed: “I’d definitely do it again. Once a dragon always a dragon.”
