LIGHTNING ATTACK has been running well and was again right on the premises at Doncaster last time out.
He likes a little cut in the ground so it won’t matter if there’s any juice left and the handicapper has left his mark alone.
Sezim has had a couple of handicap runs and showed promise when beaten less than a length at Yarmouth last time. With the Roger Varian horses in cracking form, he should be right there again.
Harvey Dent has the plum inside draw and has been threatening to win a race like this.

KING’S CAPER showed promise when beaten less than two lengths on debut at Sandown last time out. He was right there until the closing stages and should improve fitness-wise for the experience.
Sesame Birah wasn’t asked too many questions when second on debut at Nottingham and shaped as though stepping up in trip by a furlong, as she does today, would bring plenty of improvement.
It’s Been Noted has had a couple of spins around here already and that experience can see him in the frame again.

ROMOLA shapes as though this longer distance will bring out the best in her and she ended her two-year-old season with a victory. She hasn’t been knocked about in her two handicap runs this season and goes beyond a mile for the first time here.
Nearooz won her first two outings and wasn’t beaten far over an inadequate mile at Nottingham last time. She’s another who should relish this distance.
Ocala was upped 6lb for winning at Chepstow in May but went close off this mark at Hamilton last time and has more to offer.

CALL OUT LOUD won a handicap at Leicester with a little in hand last time and has enough quality to take this claimer. He saves his best for this trip and handles a tricky track. He has a good 5lb apprentice in the saddle for good measure.
Gabrial has been running in good handicaps so should find the going much easier in this company at a track he enjoys running at.
Roller is inconsistent but has a handy low draw and was third in a similar race last time out.

GABRIAL THE TIGER has plenty of decent form around the Roodee and was right on the premises again last time when third in a similar race to this. He has a good draw and is only 2lb higher than his last win.
Queen’s Sargent also has a low stall and wasn’t beaten fair at Goodwood latest. It will be interesting to see how he goes in first-time cheekpieces.
Penwortham has a wide draw to overcome but won this race 12 months ago and could hit the places.

SPARKLE IN HIS EYE is probably the least exposed runner in the field and he was a solid fourth in fair company on his handicap debut at Sandown last time. He shapes as though stepping up from a mile to this distance will bring improvement too.
Conundrum left it late when winning at Leicester and is up just 4lb as a result. It was his first try at this distance and it clearly suited well.
Ivory Charm has been going well at Hamilton and was a good second last time on the back of a convincing win. She can be competitive off this mark.
