Police warned people not to approach the 6ft light-skinned black man because he has a “history of violence”.
They say Moore, 31, was handcuffed and being escorted by three staff members outside North Middlesex Hospital in Enfield, north London, when he ran off towards the A406 on Thursday afternoon.
Police have released CCTV footage of his last known sighting just after 9.15am yesterday when he made a large cash withdrawal at the Nationwide Building Society in Tottenham, north London.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley, of the Met’s North Area CID, said: “Extensive efforts are being made by my investigation team to locate this dangerous individual who is unlawfully at large.
“He has a history of violence and the risk exacerbates the longer he is without his medication which he requires daily.
“If you see this man, please do not to approach or challenge him but dial 999 immediately.’
