There's a lot of talk about a new type of "Olympics" where there will be no drug testing and it's open season for PEDs.
It'll be interesting to see which athletes suddenly decide to switch to these games.
First one is Roland Schoeman a retired South African swimmer. A man who previously failed a doping test but successfully argued that it was a tainted supplement.
If there is a new ground it will not be closer to the city centre - that is assured simply by the price of land. With HS2 that price is only likely to increase.

Tosspots ain’t they.
Bloody adults parading around in cheap polyester replica kits.
Makes me puke.
Even more if they ain’t local teams.
Good job I wasn’t there mucka.
????
I popped to the Harborne Carnival this afternoon…THERE WERE LIVERPOOL AND MAN UTD SHIRTS EVERYWHERE!!!
Yes I saw the odd Blues, Villa or Albion shirt but the combined total of these shirts being worn was far outweighed by bloody Liverpool and Man Utd shirts.
Adults and children of all ages and ethnicities showing how effing proud they are that have chosen to follow one of these teams. “Well done you”.
It does my head in.
Does anyone on here groundhop at all? Gonna start doing this as of the start of this season.
Starting with Swansea probably on the 5th August.
I usually do moors games when blues are away but I've got abit bored of them If I'm being totally honest. Looking at doing lower league grounds aswell as a few football league grounds.
Very quick summary: My Mom died in October. She had lots of credit card debts some of which she took out in my Dad's name. I would guesstimate he owes at least 30k on stuff in his name. He is 80 years old, lives in rented housing association accommodation and lives on state pension, housing benefit and a small private pension (£70p/m). He has no savings and has no clue about money. My Mom dealt with all of the finances (very badly).
When my Mom died I wrote to those companies she owed and all debts seem to now be cancelled. Читать дальше...

What are everyone’s plans to celebrate the takeover? Will people head to the ground/pubs near the ground to celebrate?

I appreciate this is meta and it's a bit egotistical of me to post this here, but I hope by doing so more people will read it and I'll have to send the link out to fewer people.

I've put together a meta post confirming my retirement plans for now, and why I don't want any recognition from the club.
Thanks for everything Dan. You were the beacon of truth in a whirlwind of crap. Hopefully there's is never a need for you, or someone like you, to do this again for our great club.
Enjoy your retirement.

Great news, buzzing with that.
If we can get Dion and Kris done before we go away for the camp that would be a sensational start to the window.

I only know bits and that she has some "interesting" views. But those girls at the front obvs love her, it looked like a Beatles gig with the crying and tears.

Hmmm ... many interesting answers.
My actual point though, was that i'm fine with cashless - and always carry a note in my pocket for when card isn't okay - and some coins in the car for parking or supermarket trolleys --- but with the move to APP only it means you have to physically have your phone with you - and sometimes when i'm out i don't really want to have £2,000 (or close to) worth of kit with me - especially with the parking malarkey which was in the original link.
