Rumer Willis’s daughter Louetta “Lou” Isley is spunky, silly, and sweet in a new video! The proud mama posted a montage clip full of photos and videos of her pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding journey with baby Lou, 1, who she shares with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, as well as plenty of moments of Lou growing up over the last year. From cuddles with her aunts to smiling at grandpa Bruce Willis, little Lou is a little darling!
The video is set to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” and follows the progression of Rumer’s pregnancy. There are baby bump moments, including a flash of Rumer completely nude. Fast-forward to March 2023 and Lou is born! She breastfeeds and cuddles with her mom in heartwarming moments.
At one point, Lou sits in Bruce’s lap as he gives his granddaughter the biggest grin. In another, Rumer’s mom Demi Moore holds the sleeping baby as Rumer gets some rest next to them. There are snaps of both of Rumer’s sisters, Tallulah and Scout, holding Lou, and a video of the baby girl sleeping next to a cat. Other clips include Lou hanging off drawer handles, Lou kissing her mom, and Lou pushing a kid-sized shopping cart with a little blue ponytail sticking straight up. There’s even a video of Lou taking her first steps — right into her mom’s outstretched arms.
“Oh my girl. Being your mama is the greatest hurt in the whole entire world,” the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress wrote in the caption. “You are my everything. Becoming a mother has been the portal I always knew it was and yet so much more than I ever imagined.”
The Rumer Has It founder said that being pregnant and being a mom to Lou “has been the privilege of my life,” calling her daughter, “my tiny tender, strong, hilarious, fiery, wild child and the sweetest most loving being I have ever known.”
Rumer calls Lou’s love a “gift,” adding, “Everyone who meets you [is] completely taken with you and can’t believe how magic you are.” She went on, “I know there can be moments that are challenging but somehow with you they never too hard. I’m never to tired hold you or kiss you or comfort you. You will always be my baby. And what a joy it’s been already to see you grow.”
“Every day with you is so fun and wonderful,” Rumer continued. “I love your singing and silly faces and scrunched nose when you smell flowers. ???? you are my bestest little friend and truly the love of my life.”
Moore commented on the sweet post. “The greatest adventure of your life! Happy Mothers Day which now is everyday!❤️”
Emma Heming Willis, Bruce’s wife and Rumer’s stepmom, commented, “Watching you step into this new role as a Mom so effortlessly has been so beautiful and inspiring. We love you and Lou ever so much! ❤️”
Tallulah wrote, “My baby tuna. My mama tuna. My whole heart is here. So proud of you.”
The Sorority Row actress also wrote a tribute to her mom on her Instagram story. Over a photo of Moore holding Lou, Rumer wrote, “Man I love you mama @demimoore I know I’m a day late but you are worth the wait. You are [an] icon and muse. A quirky funny goofy magical mama. You are so generous and the best YaYa. We are so lucky to have you.”
In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, Rumer shared how much her daughter loves her grandpa as well. “He’s doing really good,” Rumer said of the Die Hard star, who has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. She said Lou “loves” going to visit her grandpa, and they had actually gone for a visit the same day. “It’s so sweet. Louetta honestly is like the most famous person in our family. Within my family, people will call and ask to have playdates just with her. They’re like, ‘We don’t really want to see you, we’re just coming over to see Louetta.’ I’m like, ‘OK,’” Rumer said.
It’s understandable! Lou is so cute!
