A massive fire has broken out on a barge carrying scrap metal on the Delaware Bay. The U.S. Coast Guard says it responded Tuesday morning to reports of the fire and dispatched a helicopter and two boats. Coast Guard Petty Officer First Class Matthew West says a tugboat was moving the unmanned barge at the time of the fire. West says there were no injuries. While ship traffic was not impacted, he says the fire was still burning several hours later.
