Two Palestinian brothers have been killed by Israeli settler gunfire in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Mohammad Taha Ma’mar, 52, was shot in the head and Faheem Taha Ma’mar, 48, was shot in the pelvis, the ministry said in a statement on Monday. The two men were killed in the village of Qaryout in the northern West Bank. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It comes as settler violence surges across the territory and amid an intensified Israeli crackdown on the territory due to the war in the region.
