Louisiana authorities say they have captured all eight inmates who escaped from a jail. The inmates were reported missing from Riverbend Detention Center in Lake Providence around 1:20 a.m. Friday, according to state police. All eight were reported to be in custody by 12:15 a.m. Saturday. All were considered violent offenders. Several state, local and federal law enforcement agencies, including at least one in neighboring Mississippi, took part in the search. A series of bold jail breakouts in the state over the past year have exposed jail breakdowns.
