A celebratory roll call marked Vice President Kamala Harris' nomination as the Democratic candidate for president. Leaders of the party, including former President Barack Obama, stepped up to regale attendees at the Democratic National Conference with the qualities she would bring to the job. They also had a few chosen words for her opponents, former President Donald Trump and Ohio Sen. JD Vance, some of them a little off the mark.
