NBC's "Saturday Night Live," closed out its latest season with former president Donald Trump (played by James Austin Johnson) promoting potential VP picks while standing in the hall of the Manhattan courtroom where he is facing 34-felony counts related to hush money payments.
In the segment, Trump introduced three possibilities: an overly-animated Sen.Tim Scott (R-SC) played by Devon Walker, puppy-murdering Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD), portrayed by Heidi Gardner and fictional cannibal Hannibal Lecter, cast member Michael Longfellow.

Introducing Lecter as his top candidate, SNL's Trump told the audience, "Finally, my last and favorite choice is a man I can’t stop talking about in my rallies, It’s the late great Hannibal Lector. There he is, I keep calling his late, great even though he’s not dead, he’s not great and he’s not real, but I think you’d really scare everybody at the border right?”
He then added, "Can anyone else see him or is it just me?'
