A teenager has been arrested after police said he was in possession of a loaded gun.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A teenager has been arrested after police said he was in possession of a loaded gun.
Around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to the 100-block of Commerce Avenue for reports of a person with a weapon. Police stopped to speak with a group connected to the incident and learned a 14-year-old boy had a handgun.
A search warrant was executed on his bag, and police said they found a loaded 9mm handgun. The teenager was charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. His identity is not being released due to his age.
