A man who carried out a series of random, violent attacks which culminated in the murder of 31-year-old Johanita Dogbey in Brixton has been convicted following the conclusion of a trial.
Detectives continue to appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal shooting in Lambeth.
The investigation is led by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command with support from colleagues from the North East and South East Counter Terrorism Policing Units
Umair Rafiq, 35 (21.12.88) of no fixed address was arrested on Sunday, 12 May, He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Monday, 13 May, charged with Jack’s murder.
The teenagers, both 17, were arrested in the Ashford area of Kent on Friday 10 May on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
