Good Wednesday Evening,
It has been a muggy & mild day today with temps back above normal into the lower 80s. We are watching a few isolated showers mainly in the southeast, but there is the potential of some storms to form this evening mainly in the west to southwest and then moving east. The main threat with these storms will be gusty winds within a few hours of sunset tonight. Temps will gradually fall back into the 70s this evening.
We will continue to see spotty showers and a few non-severe rumbles overnight tonight with lows dropping into the middle 60s. Expect the weak front to sag south on Thursday with some isolated showers possible early, and then the focus will shift to the southern part of our area during the day closer to the front. Highs on Thursday will be closer to normal in the upper 70s.
The front will slowly lift north on Friday as a warm front, with rain showers and a few storms possible, especially later in the day with highs back into the lower 80s. Rain shower chances will continue into Friday night and early Saturday morning. For most of Saturday we will see a few clouds and highs into the low to mid 80s.
Expect another frontal boundary to approach for Sunday, with a better chance of showers and a few isolated storms popping up. Those chances increase throughout the day and we could have a few stronger storms by Sunday evening as our next cold front approaches. Highs on Sunday will remain in the lower 80s.
Monday for Memorial Day, we will still have a chance of showers and storms, with the better chance in the afternoon during the heating of the day with the boundary sliding away from our area. Highs behind the front will be more seasonal in the middle 70s. Rain chances will go down and become more isolated for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs actually running a bit below normal in the lower 70s.
