COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - An annual race to help raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer returns to Columbus this weekend.
The Komen Columbus Race for the Cure is set for Saturday. The race, through the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, is held with the goal to fight breast cancer while racing for those who can't, because they are battling the disease or in honor of those who have died from it. The annual race also helps by raising money for breast cancer research, providing access to quality screenings and treatment, all while bringing the community together.
The race kicks off at North Bank Park, which is located at 311 W. Long St. in Columbus.
Below is the schedule for the race day.

The organization is also hosting a Packet Pick Up Day on Friday, May 17 at the North Bank Park Pavilion from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. That's where you can register on site, drop off any donations and pick up a t-shirt and your race bib.
