After dropping Friday night’s game to the Reds, Jose Buttó will take the mound, looking to lead the Mets to a series victory.

The Atlanta Braves on Saturday announced that right-handed pitcher Spencer Strider underwent surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow with internal brace. His surgery was performed in Arlington, Texas, by Dr. Keith Meister. Due to the surgery, Strider will be on the injured list for the remainder of the 2024 season.
