Britain’s Foreign Secretary has urged Israel to refrain from retaliating against Iran’s missile and drone attack.
David Cameron, Britain’s Foreign Secretary, stated on Monday, April 15th, in an interview with Sky News, that Iran’s missile and drone attacks on Saturday night were a double defeat for the country.
The British Foreign Secretary said, “This attack was almost a complete failure, and they showed the world that they are a force to be reckoned with in the region that they were prepared for. Therefore, we hope that there will not be a retaliatory response.”
In response to Israel’s attack on its consulate in Damascus, Iran conducted extensive drone and missile attacks against Israel on Saturday night.
Israel claims to have intercepted 99% of these missiles and drones in cooperation with its allies, including the United States and Britain.
