I'm happy to take the reins going forward so the auld place doesn't go down the toilet. Going to need a bit of cash from everyone who can help though, it's not deadly expensive from what I can see but every little helps.

Thanks for your good wishes guys. Babs will get over it in her own good time and has been keeping busy with doing up next door and getting ready for the move on Sat.
Mum lived next door, but is now in care due to being 96 and suffering dementia. so we have been doing up her house since Oct! and moving in ready to sell our house for her care. Next door is a 3 apartment with a conservatory, and looks out over a small grass area rather than across the street to another house.

Not dwelling is part of the problem HC. Babs is beating herself up thinking she should be over it by now, and moving on. It was her TWIN sister that she lost so if tears come now and again it's only to be expected.
