Britain’s borders watchdog has been sacked after he claimed “high-risk” aircraft were entering the country without security checks.
David Neal, the independent chief inspector of borders and immigration, was told he had “lost the confidence” of home secretary James Cleverly.
He had previously accused the Home Office of failing to publish 15 critical reports he had carried out.
The most recent spat involved claims he made... Читать дальше...

However, leading family psychologist Fiona Yassin, explains that when parents are dishonest - even with the best intentions - the impact on the child can be damaging.

Inviting kids to weddings is always a big debate, some people create a separate area for children to have fun and others say strictly no kids allowed. Not everyone wants children running around while saying their vows, and I get it, kids can be unpredictable.

Rishi Sunak in his latest video
Rishi Sunak has been mocked online over his latest cringeworthy video.
The prime minister has made a habit of posting a series of videos which have highlighted his, er, limited acting skills.
His latest effort was aimed at publicising the government’s crackdown on mobile phone use in schools.
In it, he tries to record a piece to camera but is continually interrupted by his phone ringing in his pocket.
He eventually throws it away and says: “See how frustrating that is. Читать дальше...
Studies have shown that everything from brushing your teeth to climbing the stairs can reveal signs of early dementia. And now, it seems that how you take your dinner could indicate whether or not you’ve got a condition called frontotemporal dementia.
The uncommon subtype of dementia affects about one in every 20 dementia patients, Dementia UK says.
They say it’s an”umbrella term for a group of dementias that mainly affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, which are responsible for personality... Читать дальше...

Madonna
You don’t last 40 years in the music business without knowing how to bounce back from a tumble or two – as Madonna proved during the latest stop on her Celebration Tour.
Over the weekend, the Queen of Pop paid a visit to Seattle, Washington, but suffered a minor blip early on in the show, in the middle of her hit Open Your Heart.
During the performance, a dancer who was pulling her along by a chair stumbled over, pulling the singer to the floor too.
Fortunately, Madonna knew how to make the most of the moment.
