"A US judge has found that it had been wrongly stated that 2500 homes had already been built as part of a project associated with the loss-making Trump International Golf Club in Aberdeen. But there was planning permission to build only 500 and no development had taken place," Williams wrote for The Herald.
"According to a judge’s civil fraud case findings of fact at one point the Trump organisation had valued the 2500-home development at £83,164 when an appraisal it received placed it at less than half that. That put the value of the undeveloped Aberdeen land at £207.9m."

There are speculations that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were referring to the Duchess of Cornwall when they talked about a racist royal in their Oprah Winfrey interview, and a royal commentator shared her thoughts about the issue.
Los Angeles-based royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, host of the "To Di For Daily" podcast and founder of ToDiForDaily.com, appeared on GB News and told Mark Dolan that, in her opinion, the Duchess of Cornwall is not racist. She even described Prince Charles' second wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles, among the "least problematic" royals.
"While I do love Diana, I think that Camilla has really earned her place within the royal family, and actually, now she's surprisingly one of the least problematic members of the British royal family," she continued. "It really is surprising if you think back," the author of R is for Revenge Dress added as quoted by Express.
Some people started to think that the Sussexes were referring to her as the alleged racist senior royal because Bower mentioned in his book that she joked about the appearance of Prince Harry and Markle's future children having "ginger Afro hair." Bower claimed that Prince Harry found it funny and initially laughed.
However, when he allegedly shared the joke with his wife, Markle did not find it funny and reportedly felt it was racist.
"Meghan’s reaction to that conversation turned Harry’s amusement into fury," Bower alleged.
Schofield mentioned a report from Page Six explaining that Camilla Parker-Bowles is not the racist royal and unlikely the person that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were referring to in their previous interview. According to her, the speculations about Camilla being racist could have been prevented if the couple just mentioned the royal whom they were referring to as the alleged racist because by not doing so, they sparked an "unfair witch hunt."
"I have to tell you over in America, Page Six, which is the number one gossip blog, the number one gossip outlet, it's been around forever, they say that Camilla's people and anonymous sources have reached out to them to let them know that Camilla is not the royal racist and she is not who Harry and Megan were talking about during the Oprah interview," Schofield said.
"They did not necessarily deny that comment, but they say that she is not racist and she is not the person Harry and Megan were talking about during the Oprah interview, which just leads me to repeat how unfair this witch hunt has been going on ever since that interview."
She added, "I wish they would have just come out and said who said exactly what so that we wouldn't be having this conversation every six months."
GB News TV presenters Mercy Muroki and Patrick Christys echoed Schofield's sentiment. They both believed it would be best if they dropped the name of the royal instead of subjecting all the senior members of the firm to the racist allegations.

"If you are going to lob an allegation out there and a very serious allegation out there, I think just by standards, you know norms, you should name the culprit," Christys said. "Because, otherwise, you tarnish everyone with the same brush, don't you?"
"If you're going to throw around allegations and then complain that no accountability has been taken, at least, say what the extent of the allegations, what exactly was said, what's the issue, who did what," Muroki added. "You can't then complain nothing is being done."

However, British journalist and biographer Tom Bower revealed new details behind the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day and the alleged drama due to the bride's relationship with her dad.
Tom Bower, author of Prince Charles' unauthorized biography The Rebel Prince, is releasing a new book and this time, it's about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to the famed journalist and writer, the Queen and Prince of Wales held a conference to address the Sussexes' 2018 nuptials concerning the bride's dispute with her dad, and Markle refused to comply, Page Six reported.
"That week, his irritation about Thomas Markle’s TV appearances, especially his criticism of the Royal Family, came to a head. 'Can’t she just go and see him and make this stop?'" Prince Charles reportedly told Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex explained to his father that his then-wife-to-be refused to contact her dad because she suspected that his phone was "not in his possession" and his email had been compromised. However, according to Bower, "the inconsistencies of Meghan’s excuses not only irritated Charles but also the Queen."
By July 2018, Prince Harry's dad had grown increasingly irritated with his wife because he couldn't really understand her.
"He had never really understood her or what she wanted," Bower wrote.
Aside from sharing new details about the Queen and Prince Charles' alleged reaction to Meghan Markle's rift with her dad, Bower also wrote about Her Majesty's thoughts when the Duchess of Sussex did not attend Prince Philip's memorial in April 2021. Queen Elizabeth's husband passed away on April 9, 2021, just two months short of his centennial birthday.
"'Thank goodness Meghan is not coming,' the monarch said in a clear voice to her trusted aides," Bower wrote in his new book.
The 96-year-old monarch made the alleged comment when she was inside the chapel of Windsor Castle on the day of Prince Philip's funeral.

Meanwhile, Finding Freedom authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed that several unnamed members of the firm were "understood to have been 'quietly pleased'" that Markle didn't join Prince Harry. They were reportedly concerned that the former Suits star would create "a circus" or "a spectacle" following their interview with Oprah Winfrey, The Independent reported.
Markle was not able to join Prince Harry's trip to the U.K. at the time because she was heavily pregnant with Lilibet and was advised against traveling. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex heed the advice as the duchess suffered a miscarriage in July 2020.
Despite Bower's claims in the book, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have maintained a close relationship with the Queen.

"And two, I don't believe they were invited to the Academy Awards, which for Megan would be her, you know, deal. So they're really, for the circles they want to be in, and I don't think they're that relevant."
Otnes was not the first to say about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's reduced relevance. Prince Charles' former biographer Jonathan Dimbleby echoed the same sentiment.
The veteran broadcaster claimed that Meghan Markle led her husband "by the nose." However, he felt that they were not heading in the best direction.
"He’s entering a sort of vortex in which they will become less and less significant as a couple," Dimbleby was quoted by Perth Now as saying. "As she gets older, as he gets older, they will matter less because the celebrity on which they trade will become less valuable."
Dimbleby was sad thinking about Prince Harry's future. The royal expert still had some fond memories of Prince Charle and Princess Diana's youngest son.
"And it’s a very great shame because when I met him he was absolutely charming – a lovely, lovely young guy. Not the brightest in the world but filled with generosity of spirit," he said of Prince William's brother.
