Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is undergoing yet another behind-the-scenes change. Albert Kim, who served as showrunner for Season 1, is stepping down ahead of Season 2, passing his responsibilities to Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani. As for Kim, he’s leaping from one adaptation of a beloved children’s franchise to another; he […]
After a quarter century, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm will conclude, once and for all, with its April 7 finale — and I’ve got a pret-tay, pret-tay, pret-tay good idea of how it’s all going to end for everyone’s favorite curmudgeon, Larry David. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s the only way […]
The brash hospital show ER burst onto television screens in 1994 as part of NBC's famed Thursday night lineup and changed the landscape of medical dramas forever -- or at least that's how it seems a few decades on, since the genre arguably hasn't changed much.

Jonathan Nolan hasn’t given up the idea of bringing Westworld back online. Though HBO cancelled the sci-fi drama in 2022, and subsequently removed it from streaming on Max, Nolan recently told The Wrap that he and fellow co-creator Lisa Joy “did have an architecture for the series and I’m big on getting a chance to […]

Tom Ripley is one of literature’s great con men, and Andrew Scott is a perfect choice to play him. The Fleabag and Sherlock actor is charming and has a sophisticated air… and yet there’s something a little off about him. (Even when he played a priest in Fleabag, he had a mischievous glint in his […]
Well, that was an action-packed finale!
Finally, most of the town is in on the alien joke, and the story is the better for it.
We could have spent a lot of time goofing around with Harry being a dufus in Patience, but Resident Alien Season 3 Episode 8 set him and everyone up for a crazy story expansion for a potential fourth season.
While Resident Alien hasn't been renewed yet, with word of mouth and excellent storytelling, it has to return.
Syfy hasn't had a hit this big in years... Читать дальше...
Is that really the last we've seen of Gloria Perez?
With Chicago PD Season 11 Episode 9's open-ending, there's always the chance that she'll pop back up again sometime down the road, and if she does, it's hard to know what to think about her and Torres' future together.
After all, could she really be free of everything, or would she take over for her husband instead?
She mentioned that she was sticking around Chicago, and she's a character who moved in silence and did her fair share of shady things... Читать дальше...

Okay, we'll admit that this episode of Chicago Fire was a little better than some of the others this season have been.

On Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 9, we zeroed in on a few distinct relationships: Chief Boden and James, Violet and newcomer Rosie, and Mouch and a strange patient from the Paramedicine program named Kathy. Читать дальше...
Bert's breakdown at Sharon's party was utterly heartbreaking.
Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 9 offered a glimpse into the insidious nature of dementia. Bert was only in a few scenes, but his transformation from mostly with it to forgetting he didn't live with Sharon anymore to his grief over realizing his mistake was painfully realistic.
It was an hour filled with tough calls, but that was the scene that got me -- and it wasn't even at the hospital.
Sharon will always... Читать дальше...

Wednesday’s Season 1 finale of The New Look debuted Christian Dior’s iconic silhouette. But according to Maisie Williams, who plays Dior’s sister Catherine in the Apple TV+ drama, the best finale fashion moment isn’t Dior’s dramatic cinched-waists, nor his show-stopping full skirts. For Williams, the best New Look fashion comes to down to the details […]
