Character departures are inevitable for most shows.
That doesn't mean we have to like them. Sometimes, a character has to go because it's necessary for the story.
Other times, the actor moves on to a new role, and the character can't continue without them. (That is, unless the actor just gets recast, like when Nathan Parsons took over the role of Kent on True Blood.)
Now and then, a character's time on a show comes to an end in a way that leaves us brokenhearted and feeling betrayed by the writers. Читать дальше...

Apparently, we don’t even need new episodes of Yellowstone to air for the Paramount Network hit to deliver fresh drama. Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes are asking for massive pay hikes to continue on as Beth, Rip and Kayce, respectively, in series co-creator Taylor Sheridan‘s already-greenlit spinoff, per a report in industry newsletter […]

Taylor Swift casually made history on Sunday, becoming the first artist to win Album of the Year four times at the Grammys. In breaking this record, Swift surpasses Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, all of whom won the award three times during their careers. Swift received her record-breaking win for Midnights, having previously […]
Celine Dion made an unexpected appearance at the 66th Grammy Awards on Sunday. The singer, who has kept a low profile in recent years amid a battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, presented the night’s biggest trophy, Album of the Year, to Taylor Swift. “When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it […]
The following contains spoilers for Sunday’s premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm. There are two things I can’t and don’t want to believe. First, that this is the very last season of Larry David’s exquisite Curb Your Enthusiasm, and second, that in the Season 12 opener, Maria Sofia is a huge star. Yes, Larry’s new series […]
Joni Mitchell’s first-ever Grammys performance was one of the most epic moments from Sunday’s ceremony — and one of its most subdued. The 80-year-old performer was introduced with an incredible speech from Brandi Carlile, who encouraged everyone to celebrate “the matriarch of imagination, a true renaissance woman,” and to cherish the fact that we even […]
The Grammys paid tribute to the “goddess of rock ‘n’ roll” on Sunday with a high-energy performance of Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.” And who better to bring this timeless tune to the stage than Fantasia Barrino? Introduced by Oprah Winfrey, the American Idol winner (never forget!) appeared on stage in a sparkly gold dress with […]

Olivia Rodrigo spilled her Guts all over the Grammys stage on Sunday with a performance of her multi-nominated single “Vampire.” Earlier in the night, host Trevor Noah told Rodrigo that he couldn’t wait to hear what she was going to rhyme with “bloodsucker.” The chilling performance, which came midway through the three-hour broadcast, found Rodrigo […]
As far as we’re concerned, Miley Cyrus’ performance of “Flowers” at Sunday’s Grammy Awards marked the official start of spring, groundhog be damned. That said, we weren’t expecting the song’s TV debut to segue into a low-key tribute to Tina Turner, who died in May. Watch footage of Cyrus’ performance below, which we’ll replace with […]
Billie Eilish had everyone questioning their existence on Sunday with her Grammy Awards performance of “What Was I Made For?,” arguably the saddest part of this year’s ceremony. (No offense, “In Memoriam” segment. You’ll always be a tearjerker.) Nominated for five Grammys, including Song and Record of the Year, the heartbreaking ballad was written by […]
