The woman was described as a "Hispanic female with long black hair, approximately 5’ 09" tall and 150 lbs,” who was last seen wearing a black sweater and black skirt, police said.
SAN JOSE — A 31-year-old woman who was reported kidnapped early Saturday morning has been found safe, police have announced.
The 31-year-old woman was a passenger in a vehicle that was stolen by several people around 2 a.m. Saturday, near North Fifth and St. John streets, according to the San Jose Police Department. Police put out a public alert after locating the car but not the woman, nor one of the kidnapping suspects.
Hours after the alert went out, San Jose police put out a second announcement saying she’d been found safe and thanking the public for efforts in locating her. Authorities haven’t said if all the suspects have been arrested.
It’s unclear how many people were involved in the carjacking, which occurred in the blocks between.
