State police are investigating a series of break-ins at a storage facility in Old Lyme over the weekend.
The break-ins were discovered just after 12:40 p.m. Sunday when investigators responded to CubeSmart on Shore Road on the report of a larceny from one of the storage units, according to Connecticut State Police.
State police later discovered a total of eight units had been burglarized. The lock latch on each unit had been pried from the door, state police said.
Investigators were unable to speak with a manager after reaching out to CubeSmart’s corporate offices. State police said they are looking to speak to the other seven individuals whose units were burglarized.
Investigators are also looking to review video surveillance at the facility, state police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
