Since my last post, I had an opportunity at work to take over the responsibilities for a couple of Web apps. I also implemented one from scratch. The last time I had anything to do with JavaScript was over a decade ago. The browsers were weak and JavaScript support was not standard. Web pages were rendered using server-side templates and all business logic happened on the server.

As drones gain popularity, drone makers are looking to distinguish their devices from each other by adding features aimed at specific customers. Every generation of drones has become increasingly easier to fly, and offers more high-end features such as ultra high definition video and autonomous flight modes at lower prices. With modern drones, the technology needed to capture great photos and videos of people and scenery from a bird’s eye view is no longer the sole purview of RC pilots and hobbyists. Читать дальше...

It's the reason that Amazon Web Services, Uber, Airbnb and countless other demand-based services have flourished.

As a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, Trump quickly proposed restricting the use of H-1B visas to protect U.S. jobs, and by doing so attacked a top legislative priority for the tech industry.
