Benedictine Mesa notched four more victories last week to extend its California Pacific Conference record win streak to 25 games behind an offense that erupted for 56 runs while allowing opponents a total of just seven. The highlight of last week's run was Mikito Barkman's seven-inning no-hitter in Saturday's 14-0 win over Providence Christian. Barkman faced just three batters over the minimum while shutting down the Sea Beggars with 14 strikeouts. The Redhawks, who jumped up to No. 19 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, eclipsed Antelope Valley's previous hottest streak of 18 straight wins in 2019 but are well shy of the NAIA record of 41, set by set by Point Park (Pa.) in 1990.
