Recently, in a new podcast session with Scoop actress Karishma Tanna, Jackie Shroff made this revelation. The actor was asked whether he felt insecure being a part of multiple hero roles and whether he felt that someone else will get more footage. To this, Jackie Shroff shared that he did not think about it at all. He gave an example of Amar Akbar Anthony and stated that everyone did such films. He spoke about Devdas and mentioned that nobody wanted to take up the part of Chunni Babu in Shah Rukh Khan's Devdas. Since nobody was doing it, he picked up the role. The ace actor mentioned that he did not think much and rather took whatever came his way. He candidly added, 'Tension nahi lene ka. Mujhe kabhi koi fikar hi nahi tha ki vo mera role katega, mujhe girane ki koshi karega, jiska jitna role hai vo utna khayega."
