ArmInfo. A rally demanding the resignation of the current government led by Prime Minister Nikol
Pashinyan was held in Yerevan's Freedom Square. The organizers of the rally, which takes place on the 36th anniversary of the start of the Artsakh movement, are the "Together" movement.
The initiators of the action presented 100 symbolic reasons for Nikol
Pashinyan's resignation, accusing the latter of deceit, surrendering
Artsakh and fulfilling the order of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem to
destroy the statehood of Armenia. One of the initiators of the rally,
oppositionist Edgar Ghazaryan, emphasized that even one of the
mentioned reasons is enough to demand the resignation of the current
prime minister. Today's rally, as noted, will be followed by
specific programs and effective steps. In particular, the initiators
called on all opposition forces to join their movement.
Leader of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan also took
part in the rally. He called on the opposition to express a vote of
no confidence in Nikol Pashinyan in the National Assembly. Sargsyan
noted that discussions with opposition political forces will take
place within a week, the results of which will be presented at the
next rally on Freedom Square.
